First Friday Reception

Join us in March to celebrate the art of Edward Kosinski.  Colorado artist Edward Kosinski focuses mainly on the diverse expressions of spirituality in the world. Using bright, joyous colors in acrylics and oil pastels, he crafts images that evoke feelings of connection to Spirit. Edward, who is also a Reiki practitioner, says, “Painting for me is a meditative, collaborative effort. It is like having a conversation that begins when the first marks are put on the canvas. I ‘listen’ for cues that intuitively inform me all thoughout the process. And at journey’s end, I feel I have ‘co-created’ a painting, which sometimes was quite unforeseen at the outset. I am grateful to be able to share these paintings with you.” Also available will be prints of the artist’s work, and copies of his Connect-the-Dot book, created for older children and adults, featuring 8 drawings, totaling 4,767 dots!

Edward’s work is represented by Creator Mundi Gallery of Sacred Art in Cherry Creek North and Denver Art Gallery on East Colfax. His artwork is in collections, and has been exhibited, locally, nationally and as far away as France & Sweden. He lives and works in the West Wash Park neighborhood.

Edward's work will be on display throughout the month of March.  Come by on Friday March 5th for a reception and an opportunity to talk with the artist.
